Sageman Drums is very exited to announce that we have recently become the only authorized builder of Djembe drums officially licensed to carry Bob Marley’s image. Working with input directly from the Marley family we’ve created a deep carved “Tuff Gong” logo along with our special minted coin with Bob’s image embedded into each Djembe. We’re very proud to offer this special drum commemorating the late/great Bob Marley. As is true of all our Djembes, each starts with a handpicked piece of solid mahogany which is precision lathe cut and hand carved. Traditionally skinned, this drum creates an old world sound that is natural, warm and full-bodied, a sound that synthetic heads can’t produce. You will not find another drum like this!
Please allow for variations in carving style and rope color as all Sageman Djembes are made by hand and vary slightly from one drum to the next.
