Sageman Drums is proud to offer it's world class djembe repair service to
the public. We are one of the only full service djembe repair shops in the continental United States. Like our drums, our repair service is top of the line. When you send your drum to us for repair be assured that we only use high quality goatskins that have been hand inspected by our repair staff. Once your drum has been repaired we will tighten and tune the drum and apply a coat of orange oil which refreshes the finish of your drum. We then ship your drum back to you in our custom drum packaging and pick up the return freight charges. You will need to pay for the repair service prior to
shipping your drum to us. The drum repair process works like this:
If your drum is a Sageman drum and it is still in the warranty period your drum will be fixed for free. Please contact us during business hours at 949-497-6469 to make arrangements for shipment of your djembe to our repair facility.
Otherwise, follow these steps:
1. Measure the width of your drum head. (Do not include the rope in the measurement). See Drum repair icon for a view of where to measure.
2. Purchase the appropriate repair service (purchase is based on your drum
head size)
3. Send us your drum for repair along with a copy of your paid receipt to:
Sageman Drums
483 Aster Street
Laguna Beach, Ca 92651
4. We will receive your drum and make all repairs( between one and two weeks time).
5. Your drum will be cleaned up, packaged, and returned to you by Sageman
Drums.
Other Notes: We can't repair ring damage and if the ropes on your drum are
frayed or need to be replaced there is an additional charge for new rope.
