The African Style is now in the medium size! Wow, they are stunning! Red stain with decorative line carving and painting on the base. True to their roots, these drums pack a low end punch and crisp rim tones. All Sageman drums start with a hand picked piece of mahogany. The shell is precision lathe cut and then hand carved. Traditionally skinned, these drums create an old world sound that is natural, warm and full bodied. This sound can not be produced with synthetic heads.
Please allow for variations in carving, style and rope color, as all Sageman Djembes are made by hand. Each drum will vary slightly from one to the next. Slight imperfections are common.
