As old “Deadheads” ourselves we are thrilled to offer our Grateful Dead deep carved Djembe to the world. Manufactured for the Grateful Dead by Sageman Drums, these hand-carved drums look and sound amazing. Capturing the “Steal Your Face” Grateful Dead logo spot on with teeth (seriously, it’s got bone teeth), this drum is a favorite in our line of hand-carved Djembe drums. All Sageman drums start with a handpicked piece of solid mahogany. The shell is precision lathe cut and then hand carved. Traditionally skinned, this drum creates an old world sound that is natural, warm and full-bodied, a sound that synthetic heads can’t produce. You won’t find another drum design like this anywhere in the world.
Please allow for variations in carving style and rope color as all Sageman Djembes are made by hand and vary slightly from one drum to the next.
